With fifteen years’ experience as a tech writer, I’m comfortable operating as a one-woman documentation department. I can handle triage, tight deadlines, and juggling multiple projects at once.
I have an engineering degree—I can read code and understand nerd-speak—so I’m awfully self-sufficient. Engineers love me because they can toss me sketchy notes, or just the software, and that’s plenty to get going.
I also have a master’s degree in playwriting, so I have practice at putting myself in other people’s shoes. I can write for people you’d trust with root access and people who can’t use a cell phone.
And I have experience writing, directing, and producing indie films. I’m no stranger to keeping the talent happy and the crew well fed.
